New Longview Gets Upcycled in Its 100th Year
Innovative Arts Festival brings music, food, fashion, jewelry, home décor and more!
Lee’s Summit, Missouri –The New Longview Foundation as part of its 100-year celebration is excited to announce September 12-13 as the dates of the annual Longview Festival.
This year, the festival will be again featuring original art, upCycled décor, boutique items, featured demonstrations by vendors, Children's Art Activities, live music, plenty of food, historical hayride tour and an amazing New Longview Foundation Historical Tent with local historical items available for sale. It’s your last chance to own a piece of our local history and support a good cause. Our festival will offer a mesmerizing blend of vintage-inspired new and old items that have been re-purposed or re-designed to fit into modern lifestyles.
The excitement begins Friday, September 12 at 4pm, with bagpipes leading local school children in a parade. Following the kick-off will be an exclusive VIP Benefit Reception held in the historical tent featuring local celebrity, Leanne Lee, the Diva of DIY offering first chance at purchasing the exclusive historical items. Tickets are available in limited quantity for this event.
Last year thousands of people enjoyed the three-day event that benefits the New Longview Foundation. The Foundation empowers, advocates and coordinates projects that enhance and preserve superior architecture, celebrate the arts and enable healthy living following the great legacy of R. A.
